Counting On Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard Share Relationship Advice & Show How To Make Your Marri
Former Counting On stars Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard recently enjoyed a “kid free date night” without their two sons Israel and Samuel. Duggar shared a few pics and a video from their date on Instagram, and she encouraged her 1.6 million followers to make their own marriages a priority.
Duggar and Dillard had an “amazing” night at local Italian restaurant Pastafina in Cave Springs, Arkansas. In the video, Duggar explained that it was an old house that had been turned into a restaurant, and it is “so amazing.” She told all of the locals reading her post to try it out because they are “missing out.”

Duggar also directed her fans to the Dillard Family blog (dillardfamily.com) so they could read her and Dillard’s marriage tips. Last summer, Duggar wrote a blog post titled “More Than Sex: How to Love Your Husband,” and Dillard wrote one titled “Hot Love: How To Love Your Wife Like You Mean It.”
The advice they both shared was incredibly similar, and it included tips like “have sex often,” “be open about money and spending habits,” and “make time with your family a priority.”
Duggar also recently posted about her and Dillard’s “love story,” and shared an old picture of Dillard that she kept in her Bible. She also showed a postcard that Dillard bought when he was in Japan during the first week they started Skyping and texting each other.
“Then, months later, after we’d met in person in Nepal and officially started ‘courting’ he mailed it to me from a stop in India on his way home to America. 🤗 I love our very international story!” wrote Duggar.

Jill Duggar also highlighted the fact that her full “love story” with Derick Dillard is available for fans to read on the family blog. Duggar was the first of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters to get married, and she and Dillard recently celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
